Major Principles of Media Law 2013 Edition, Overbeck
Major Principles of Media Law 2013 Edition PDF Download Ebook. Wayne Overbeck and Genelle Belmas offer comprehensive and current summary of media law. The text is revised every year to include the most recent developments in communication law through the end of the Supreme Court's term.
Each August, a new edition is available for fall classes, with recent developments through July 1 fully integrated into the text, not added as an appendix or separate supplement. As a member of the state and federal bar in Iowa, and as one who has taught media law at the college level for 18 years, I can appreciate the efforts Overbeck has put into making the material accessible to students.
I am always looking for new ways to teach the course, and this text comes even closer to meeting the needs of a general, mass communication audience than ever before. All data is updated with current coverage of new and changed laws. Images and photos reflect updates. New important cases are included. New Features are added as changes require.
Wayne Overbeck is Professor of Communications Emeritus at California State University, Fullerton. Professor Overbeck earned his PH.D. at UCLA and his J.D. at Loyola Law School. He passed the California bar exam in 1975. In the years since, he has practiced law in California and Washington, D.C. but always wanted to return to college teaching and writing.
